River Roots Live Ride

We found this festival in 2008 (by accident!). The River Roots Live Festival features great live bands and world famous rib vendors from different parts of the country. The event is free!

We will be leaving from the BP Station off Highway 41 in De Pere at at 8:00am.
If anyone is planning on attending from South of our location, we can set up a meeting place in either Appleton or Oshkosh. E-mail the group and let me know!

The trip is 305 miles from De Pere. We will stop for lunch along the way, somewhere around Dubuque, IA.
River Roots Live is an all day event. We should reach our hotel by 2:00pm Friday, have a little time to relax, and then head to the festival around 5pm. Saturday is more of the same, checking out Downtown Davenport and heading back to the Festival in the afternoon for more ribs and music! The main attraction? Creedence Clearwater Revisited!
We will leave for home Sunday mid-morning for a breakfast stop at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, the world's largest truckstop. After breakfast, we will head up the Mississippi River on Highway 84 and back home.
