The work that I do on this web site is
dedicated to the memory of Calvin and Dorothy Haskins, my Grandparents.
Most everyone has fond memories of their Grandparents, and I am no different. It has been 22 years since their passing. Such a long time.
My Grandfather was a fan of Red Skelton. I was told he listened to and watched Red whenever he had the chance. He liked Red's characters a lot, from Clem to Deadeye, they made him laugh.
My Grandfather was a lot like Red Skelton, he loved his country and his family. He was a hard working man with a lot of pride.
This is the reason I have Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance posted on our web site. This should make any American proud to hear how Red describes what the Pledge means to him.
